Berlin City and the Keep Driving Foundation Donate $40,400 to Local Schools and Community Partners

January 30, 2023

Berlin City Auto Group is proud to announce the latest recipients of their education and community-based grant program. Formerly known as the Drive for Education program, the newly established Keep Driving Foundation is a non-profit organization that will allow Berlin City to do even more to give back and support the local community. The $40,400 awarded this month will bring the total amount donated to local schools since the program’s inception in 2011 to $800,917.

Last week Berlin City hosted events in Portland, Maine and Gorham to present grant recipients with their checks. “We were thrilled to host students, teachers and community representatives in our dealerships to present these grants,” said Yegor Malinovskii, Berlin City Market President.

“It has been 3 years since we’ve been able to do this in person. Seeing all those smiling faces and knowing we had a part in making that happen is truly a highlight of the year for everyone at Berlin City. We are grateful to be part of a company that believes in giving back and making a difference in the communities we serve.”

Berlin City Auto Group and the Keep Driving Foundation Donate 9-Passenger Van to NH Foster Family

January 16, 2023

A NH Family started out the New Year with a new vehicle from Berlin City Auto Group. On Wednesday, January 4th Berlin City and the Keep Driving Foundation donated a nine person transit van to a NH foster family. The gift came just in time for the family of 8 to be able to drive together in one vehicle to the courthouse to finalize the adoption of one of the four foster children in their care.

Jody and her husband Brian began fostering in 2019 after hearing about the negative impact the opioid epidemic was having on the foster care system. They have two children of their own and were fostering four additional children when Berlin City heard about their story.

Announcing the Keep Driving Foundation

August 1, 2022

Berlin City Auto Group is proud to announce the establishment of their non-profit organization, the Keep Driving Foundation. The Keep Driving Foundation will allow Berlin City to do more to invest in the communities where we do business by providing access to additional funding that will help build a brighter future for individuals and organizations in need.

The Keep Driving Foundation will continue to support Berlin City’s commitment to education and will allow us to expand upon what we’ve done with the Drive for Education Program®.

The Drive for Education program, established in 2011 set aside a portion of each vehicle sold to support local schools. Through that program Berlin City has been able to give back more than $850,000 to schools in Maine, NH and VT and in recent years also allowed us to partner with local foodbanks to help fight food insecurity.

The Keep Driving Foundation will now set aside a portion of the proceeds from both sales and service to more than double the impact we will be able to have in our communities in the first year alone.

“Our mission has always been to drive change in the communities we serve and to enrich the lives of children and families in need,” said Yegor Malinovskii, President of Berlin City Auto Group. “By establishing the Keep Driving Foundation we are going to be able to have a greater impact by giving our customers and the local community more opportunities to contribute and by continuing to build strong partnerships with local business and other charitable organizations.”

If your organization is doing meaningful work in the areas of education, food insecurity or supporting local families in need, begin the process by submitting a grant application.

At Berlin City we believe every child holds a key to our future. We are committed to supporting opportunities for them to reach their full potential and Keep Driving for a better tomorrow.
