Kia Motors sales rise, And Berlin City is a Proud Partner

Korean automaker Kia Motors on Tuesday said its US auto sales in October rose 38.7 percent over last year led by higher sales of its 2011 Sorento crossover utility vehicle.

The company sold 31,199 vehicles in October as against 22,490 units a year ago.

Kia Motors America said Tuesday, its US auto sales in October rose 38.7 percent over previous year.

 

Kia's CUV 2011 Sorento sold 10,609 units during the month. Models such as 2010 Soul, Forte and Forte Koup; and the 2011 Sorento and Sportage, constituted 80.4 percent of its monthly sales volume, the company said.

"Kia Motors America has achieved new quarterly sales records in each of the first three quarters this year, and a strong start to the fourth quarter is an indicator that our brand's tremendous momentum and growth will continue through the end of the year," said Byung Mo Ahn, CEO of KMA and Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia in a statement.
